In Muromtsevsky District of the Omsk region there is a place known throughout Russia. It is a small village with the modest name Okunevo. There are a lot of legends, the most famous of which is the legend about Five lakes. Not far from the village you can find four lakes that are known far beyond the Siberian region: Danilovo, Linyovo, Schuchye and Urmannoe (Shaitan-lake). According to the local belief, there is also the fifth – the Secret lake, which doesn’t let everyone find it so easy.
The five lakes are surrounded by legends. Everyone remembers the tale by Peter Yershov "Humpbacked Horse" where Ivan the Fool becomes a strong and good-looking man after a swim in the mysterious boilers. But Yershov himself was a native of Omsk and for a long time lived in the village Okunevo. Maybe there is some truth in the old fairy tale?
In August 1992, in a small Siberian village Okunevo occured a seemingly unremarkable event: its population increased by one. This new villager was a foreigner Rasma Rosite. Now there appeared legends about her coming to Okunevo. They say Rasma came to Okunevo walking from ... India, where she had spent 8 years in an ashram (a spiritual community) Sri Babaji until his departure to the other world in 1984. According to the ancient Indian treatises these lakes "were born by the space" and it is the exact location where took place a great battle between Rama and the Evil Forces. The hero Hanuman provided invaluable assistance to the God in this battle, for which he was gifted the lands of Siberia. According to the legend, there was founded the Great city with the Temple, where was kept the godsent Cosmos Crystal of Wisdom. Some people say the Hanuman Temple must be somewhere close to Okunevo.
Scientists say that the lakes of Okunevo could well originate from the fallen meteorite fragments. This hypothesis finds support in the form of lakes (all the lakes are stretched in one direction) and in their depth. In addition, there are observed magnetic anomalies, seismic vibrations, and other "strange phenomena".
The Secret lake, according to the legend, is located on the right bank of Tara, somewhere 250 meters away from the riverside. They say that it has the shape of a perfect circle, and it is very shallow. Translated from the ancient Indian, the disused for many centuries Sanskrit language, the word Tara means "savior," or according to another version - "star". Ancient underground buildings, discovered in the Omsk region, are somehow mysteriously linked with India.
It is believed that the Secret lake hides from people and lets only the Chosen ones come to its waters. But how the lake distinguishes the Chosen ones from others, who wish to see it with their own eyes, is not clear. But the tool for selection is the absence of any ways or paths to the lake across Kitlinskoe swamp. Not an all-terrain vehicle can pass in those places, unless some miraculous hovercraft. The water of this lake is considered the most healing of all the five lakes - and just (as local legend says) a small addition of this water to the water of the other four lakes can cure any disease.
Michael Rechkin is a well-known researcher of anomalous phenomena of nature, a journalist, writer, organizer and coordinator of complex scientific expeditions for studying the unique energy phenomenon of Okunevo in the north of the Omsk region: "The energy potential of the water from the Secret lake is several times higher than the water in Lake Danilovo! To increase the life expectancy you can mix the waters of these two lakes and drink them this way".
